Why is architecture
important for children?
Architecture is the art of designing, planning and constructing buildings, structures, environments, communities and cities.
Architecture is about decisionmaking, problem-solving and sustainable thinking. But above all is to learn how to present your projects openly to others and convince them about your ideas!
The children will experience the art of architecture.
The Idea
50% Create : 50% Play
Every workshop consists of two parts:
1. The creative part: the children learn by creating projects with a specific theme or choosing their own idea.
2. The playing part: the children learn by playing with specially designed games, which develop their ability to understand the space.
Learning by playing
By developing their imagination skills, children learn how to analyze a question and identify the opportunity through the problem. That motivates them to change their point of view in order to find solutions, work creatively in a team, think sustainably, and deal with failure until they reach their goals.
Believe in yourself!
At the end of every project, the children present their ideas in front of the other children and answer all possible questions. That makes them more confident and motivates them to find more creative and unique ideas. By developing confidence, children can express themselves better and believe more in themselves.
